A/O Equestrian aims to elevate the standard of disaster preparedness within the equine industry. To achieve this goal, we are committed to cultivating a culture of preparedness, and invites input from equine community stakeholders, including horse owners, farm owners, trainers, farm managers, and equestrians. We understand that horsemen and women, and equestrians across the U.S. are among the most dedicated and resilient individuals. A/O is comprised of horse owners and professionals from the Emergency Management sector. Our objective is to empower you as individuals, businesses, and as local and state jurisdictions to plan, prepare, and enhance your capacity to recover from the various hazards that continue to threaten the equine industry.

Our mission is to empower equine communities to prepare for, withstand, and recover from disasters by building shared knowledge, strengthening local networks, and supporting the people who care for horses every day. We work to create a culture of preparedness across barns, businesses, and individuals through planning, advocacy, and collective resilience.
